Right of cancellation

Rules for cancellation of contract

If you are a consumer within the meaning of § 13 BGB (German Civil Code), i.e. you make a purchase for a purpose that cannot be primarily attributed to either commercial or independent professional activities, you have the right to withdraw from the contract in accordance with the following provisions.

Right of cancellation

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within fourteen days without giving reasons.

The cancellation period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party, other than the carrier, specified by you, received or took possession of the last consignment.

In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Beauty Steps GmbH, Kaiser-Friedrich-Promenade 85, 61348 Bad Homburg v.d.H., info@beauty-steps.de, Germany, telephone: +49 (0)6081 9858259) by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, fax or e-mail) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. For this purpose, you can use the enclosed standard cancellation form, which, however, is not obligatory.

In order to comply with the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send the notice of exercise of the right of withdrawal before the expiry of the withdrawal deadline.

Consequences of cancellation

If you withdraw from this contract, we must refund all payments we have received from you (with the exception of delivery costs and/or additional costs resulting from the fact that you have chosen a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us) without delay and at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which we received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier. For this repayment, we will use the same means of payment that you used in the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees because of this repayment.

You must return or hand over the goods to us immediately and in any case no later than fourteen days from the day on which you notify us of the cancellation of this contract. The time limit is granted if you send the goods before the expiry of the period of fourteen days. You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods. You will only have to pay for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking the condition, properties and functioning of the goods.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the delivery of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery.
