Alopecia (Hair Loss Causes and Treatment)

Learn more about alopecia

Androgenetic Alopecia (Alopecia androgenetica) is the most common form of hair loss and affects both men and women. Androgenetic alopecia is a genetically and hormonally induced hair loss.

Male Androgenetic Alopecia (Male Pattern Baldness)

Alopecia in men can begin after puberty and progress over time, worsening with increasing age. The growth phase of the hair shortens, and the hair density decreases. This process is called miniaturization. Thick hairs become more brittle and thinner until they transform into downy hair. New hairs no longer grow.

This is because certain cells responsible for hair growth are more sensitive to dihydrotestosterone (DHT).

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT:
1. Peeling 1.3
2. Shampoo 2.1/3.1 (choose one)
3. Lotions: 3.4.2, 3.4.3A, 3.4.3B, 3.4.4 (each lotion for 3 months)
4. Supportive care: Royal Jelly + Green O₂ de Luxe Lotion 4.4.1 (3 times a week)

Women Androgenetic Alopecia (Female Pattern Baldness)

Contrary to popular belief, androgenetic alopecia, typical in men, can also affect women as they produce androgens, albeit in smaller amounts than men. Usually, alopecia occurs after menopause, causing negative psychological effects.

In women, the process of hair follicle miniaturization is much slower, resulting in diffuse alopecia compared to men, and usually does not reach advanced stages.

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT:
1. Peeling 1.3
2. Shampoo 2.1/3.1 (choose one)
3. Lotions: 3.4.2, 3.4.3A, 3.4.3B, 3.4.4 (each lotion for 3 months)
4. Supportive care: Royal Jelly + Green O₂ de Luxe Lotion 4.4.1 (3 times a week)

Alopecia Areata (Circular Hair Loss)

Alopecia areata is a form of hair loss where hair falls out in circular patterns, mainly affecting children and adolescents.

Alopecia areata occurs due to hereditary genetic factors and autoimmune diseases, which occur when the immune system incorrectly attacks and destroys healthy body tissue. This capillary pathology is also associated with temporary psychosomatic conditions, stress, or depression. It is noteworthy that, fundamentally, this is a reversible process if treated properly.

RECOMMENDED TREATMENT:
1. Peeling 1.3
2. Shampoo 3.1/4.1 (choose one)
3. Lotions: 3.4.3B (night: 3 times a week), 3.4.5A (morning: 4 times a week), 3.4.2 (3 times a week for 4 months)
4. Supportive care: Royal Jelly + Green O₂ de Luxe Lotion 4.4.1 (3 times a week)
